AI Distribution

Who we are

The designated EU liability holder

AI Distribution B.V. carries full regulatory responsibility as the formal Authorized Representative for providers placing AI systems and general-purpose AI models on the European market under the EU AI Act.
Mission

Confident access to the European market

To enable global AI providers to access the European market with confidence by serving as their EU-based Authorized Representative, ensuring regulatory compliance, documentation integrity, and institutional continuity.
Vision

The trusted EU regulatory representative

To become the trusted EU regulatory representative for AI market access, where non-EU providers gain European presence without establishing European entities, and where regulators find reliable, professional, accountable representation with clear liability allocation.
Our mandate

What an Authorized Representative is

Under the AI Act, a non-EU provider cannot lawfully place an AI system or general-purpose AI model on the European market without an Authorized Representative established in the Union. That representative is the provider’s accountable presence: the entity regulators contact, the address they inspect, and the party that holds the documentation.
We take that role literally. We are a formal legal entity, not a virtual office and not a forwarding service, with the standing to answer to European authorities on your behalf.
How we operate

Institutional authority, professional directness.

We assume competent counterparties. We communicate precisely, and we state requirements clearly.
01

Institutional authority

We are a formal legal entity. We use precise language and we state obligations plainly, not as advice but as fact.
02

Professional directness

We do not over-explain or hand-hold. We communicate efficiently and expect the same in return.
03

Technical credibility

We demonstrate understanding of AI through specificity, and explain technical matters clearly when the situation calls for it, without unnecessary jargon.
Who we serve

AI providers entering Europe

Non-EU providers of AI systems and general-purpose AI models, regardless of size, sector or where they are established, must appoint an EU Authorized Representative before market placement. We serve any provider that needs that presence.
